What is a solid oak stair tread

A solid oak stair tread is a load-bearing staircase element manufactured from sawn oak lamels edge-glued into a monolithic board of fixed 40 mm thickness with a rounded or straight nosing profile.

Used in the construction and renovation of staircases in residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors. The 40 mm thickness ensures rigidity under dynamic load without deflection between stringers. The nosing is machined in-house to the client's profile specification. The surface is ready for lacquer, oil, or wax application without additional levelling.
